We sat in the restaurant and Ezra kept flipping through the menu, he looked like he wasn’t ready to make a choice. “Are you gonna make a choice or not?” I said, he lifted his head calmly to stare at me, and he rolled his eyes.

“Watch your tone around me.” He said, I couldn’t help but chuckle. That seemed to piss him off, he simply just rolled his eyes once again and fixated his gaze back on the menu.

My phone began to ring and I checked the caller ID, it turned out to be Xavier. I didn’t pick it up because I didn’t want to get on Ezra’s nerves. I simply just stared at him intently as he finally made a choice and called out to the waiter.

“Yes sir, what will you love to have?” The waiter asked nicely with a smile on his face.

“Can I get a chicken salad? along with spicy noodles?” He asked, the waiter nodded while writing down on a piece of paper.

“Madam? What would you like to have?” He asked.
