Stephen's pov

As soon as Reagan left, I took out my phone and called him.

He picked up after he called twice, "What is it, Stephen?"

"I thought you said that I was safe but he visited me this evening with a promise that he would be back. Also, why did you not tell me that Rosette has run away because I thought we were on the same team?"

"For the same reason, Reagan did not kill you. I knew that he would question you because they met Kim in your pack; that was why I decided to tell you nothing about her disappearance. I did not want them to sense the fact that you are lying; don't you think you were better off being told nothing?"

"So where is she then?"

"Her mission is done, Stephen. I gave her the money, sneaked her outside the place, and told her to disappear, and she did, so she is somewhere safe that even I do not know as she is done working for me. Now, I need you to do something if you are strong enough. Are you strong enough?"

"Strong enough for what?"

"I
