I woke up in a really good mood, expecting to see Kendrix in bed with me but when I opened my eyes, the bed was empty, I looked around the room thinking I would find him sitting on the couch but he wasn’t there, there was no sound coming from the bathroom so he couldn’t have been there, I finally checked the wall clock and grasped.

I let out. It was almost noon. I finally started to remember that he had told me when he got out of bed and even came to my side to let me know he was leaving for work but I had been so sleepy that I didn’t focus on what he was saying at that time.
