CHAPTER 104: Temporary solace

NYX'S POV

My heart pounded in my chest as I rushed into my room, desperately locking the door behind me.

I collapsed to the floor, gasping for breath, relieved to have found temporary solace. The events that had just unfolded left me bewildered and overwhelmed.

I gently touched my lips, still tingling from the sensation of his kiss. He had kissed me—right in front of Savio and Rylie, even though his back was turned to them. There was a possibility that they knew, that they had witnessed that intimate moment. My mind raced with questions, trying to make sense of it all.

His lips against mine was warm and soft. They had melted against like it was meant to be.

What's Atlas problem with Riley? Did he know him from somewhere or is there something Riley had done to him in the past and now he was trying to take it out on me? Or use seeing him me as a reason to instead punish him?

Because if that's not the situation why else was he always showing up whenever I was with Riley? That was how h
