CHAPTER 48

(Continuation of Flashback)

Claire's POV

Days pass by slowly while me and Kennedy are here. We learned a lot of unbelievable things while we were here.

It's our 20th day of staying in Hallow City. I decided to go to the forest to pick up some herbs for my herbal research. The Old Lady is helping me to come up with different medicines made from plants that can only grow in this area.

This place really amazed me. There are a lot of extraordinary things here. The people here are not that bad too I think.

"Ouch!" I scream.

I was searching for a plant when I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my abdomen.

This is so painful, not like any other pain that I felt before.

" What happened Claire?." The old lady asked me when she saw that I fell on the ground and I was crawling because of the pain.

"My stomach hurts so much," I answered her. My face is full of sweat because of the pain.

A few minutes more the pain made me dizzy then everything went black.
