The visitor.

Olivia stared at him while tears prickled in the corners of her eyes. “I will leave now and pretend I never heard those heartless words.” She said, her voice coming out more like a whisper.

She glanced around the room and pushed the chair backwards. Olivia reached for the door and began to walk away, and Aiden followed her behind. He didn't stop her, but turned and glared at Noah, who saw the fury in his eyes.

“Take her home before I lose my temper. I am not done with you yet,” Aiden uttered, and Noah bowed his head and lowered his gaze to the floor.

“It was never my intention to cross the line, Capo. And I promise it won't happen again.” Noah muttered ruefully in a low voice.

Aiden walked past him into his office, and Noah didn't need a reminder to ask him to go after Olivia. He rushed outside and didn't say a word to her, but his face held a frown that Olivia noticed.

“The boss asked me to take you home.” He spoke and entered the car while Olivia hopped into the back seat.
