AVATIA'S POV
"So.....he's really good looking..." Mom said once I shut the door. Thank goodness he's gone. "I kinda like him better than your other friend, Leo. "
I try hard not to roll my eyes at her matchmake. "Well too bad for you mom, I'm not interested in either of them."
She frowned a little. "Well sweetheart, it's good to find love. You'd soon be 22 darling. No harm in trying right?"
I wasn't in the mood for her silliness right now. My only concern was what he told her exactly and how she didn't recognize him as Dreidan Vaughn. "So what did he tell you?" I asked, treading wisely.
"Oh, your friend? Nothing much. We just spoke a little on global warming since when he got here, the room temperature was too high."
That's what they spoke about? "So that's it? Basically everything you spoke about?"

AVATIA'S POVI searched frantically for my phone in my bag and when I saw it, I noticed I had seven missed calls from mom. Realization dawned on me that mom was trying to call me when I was in the mansion and I totally ignored it because of the attention I was getting from Mr. Black and his girlfriend. Oh my God. I tried calling mom again but the number was blocked. I called Mr. Black and he picked up on the third ring."Avatia?" His deep husky voice sounded from the other line.I couldn't control my sobs. AVATIA'S POVAna showed me my room and it was just as beautiful as the rest of the house. It had a Californian king sized bed over flowing with pillows and silky sheets. The white and gold coloured room just made me wish I could stay here for ever but I knew I had to find mom.
