"That's bullshit" April's hands balled into fists as she tried to keep calm. She had avoided slamming her hand onto her superior's desk so far, but it was getting harder not to.

The man raised his eyes from the file he held in his hand, his gaze hardening as he took in April's appearance, his displeasure at the tone of voice she had used on him visible on his face, but April was too far gone to care.

"Will you like to repeat that officer?" His voice was haughty, grating on her last nerves, and she had to take a deep breath to get her temper under control.

"I'm sorry Sir, but Blake has been missing for more than a month now... are we just going to forget that he ever existed, let him rot somewhere? This is not fair, Blake was one of your best..."

He cut her off, waving her words away as if they meant nothing to him. "Yes he was, but he got discovered, he's a useless ghost agent now because the enemy already knows his real identity. Do I have to remind you of all the protocols?
