"Luna..." Alex started saying, and a mischievous smile danced on his lips. "You don't have to look like you've been struck by lightning. It's fine, I totally understand that you didn't mean to barge in."

Immediately Alex finished speaking, Luna's face squeezed a little. She was shocked that he was just so chill about it without doing anything to her.

"Um...okay. I-I will leave now," she said, and turned around to leave. Alex's voice stopped her the moment she took the second step. "Why are you here, Luna? You should tell me before you leave."

For a second, she stared at him like he had gone crazy. Has he forgotten that the event is today? She thought, and looked away from him. Before speaking, she crossed her hands on her chest and scoffed.
