After they were done, they had left the hotel. Carlos drove Ariana and her mother back to their house. And reminded them that they would be going for the wedding dress fitting the next day. His eyes roamed the dress that she was wearing. “What do you think? Just take it, it is definitely the one.” Carlos said with a smile. “So now let’s pack it up for you, we will have it delivered to your house tomorrow then,” Dove rubbed her palms together. “Thank you Dove , you appreciate a lot”, Martha said offering a sweet smile. The alarm went off waking Ariana from her beauty sleep, she stretched her arm to where the alarm clock was and turned it off, rubbing her still sleepy eyes she sat on her bed resting her back in the headboard. Her door was opened, as her mother walked in. “Good morning sweetheart, they are here” Her mother announced. “That was fast, what is the time?” She turned to her clock and it was 8am. She had slept longer than usual, and she remembered it was her wedding day but she suddenly felt the urge to burst into tears for goodness sake she wished she could disappear. “It’s all going to be fine sweetheart,” Martha said, giving her daughter a tight hug, the hug lasted for a few minutes before Martha pulled away. “Go freshen up its going to be okay my sweet daughter”. Ariana gave her mother a small smile and climbed out of the bed. It didn’t take her long to take her bath and freshen up, she decided to wear a loose pink dress. Ariana opened her eyes, she must have been sleeping for a while. After changing into something comfortable she decided to close for eyes for a few minutes but she guessed it was more than a few minutes. She stood up from the bed and make use of the restroom where she watched her face and ran a brush through her hair. She had a pink knee length dress on, the dress had long sleeves she had chosen this because it was beginning to get cold in the plane, freezing she would say. Ariana kept tossing and turning on the uncomfortable couch, she wasn’t used to sleeping on a couch as a matter of fact she had never done it before. The drive to the convenient store was about 30 minutes, when they got there Ariana convinced the man to wait for her outside as she went into the pharmacy, it was a big convenient store, her eyes scanned the place for an escape route. Luckily for her, she saw an exit door just at the other side of the store. Luck was definitely on her side, as she was able to get there without any suspicious looks, she opened the door slowly and closed it behind her, the route led to the other side of the building, she looked around to see if there was any sign of the bald man but there was none. She began to run down the street until she came out in the main road, a proud smile was plastered on her face. Firstly, she was going to a popular art gallery because she heard they had great art to see in the gallery. Alexander and Carlos were now heading back to the hotel in Alex’s car. “So have you found the drive?” Alex questioned. “I think you know the answer to that, I know you have an idea where it is and I know you aren’t going to give Rico”. Carlos stated. “You’re smart, Anyways I have my own plans, I’m not going give anyone the drive instead I’m gonna use it to my own advantage and bring my enemies down”. Alexander explained. “You know bringing down your enemies you will also be putting yourself and the cartel in huge risk”. Carlos said rubbing his hand on his thigh. “I know that, but I have an upper hand in everything. Everything will go according to plan..hopefully”. That took her back to the fact that he had a gun in his back pocket all this while, was he some kind of criminal? Perhaps a drug dealer? Ariana shivered at the mere thought of her living with a criminal. She would have to find out why Alexander was carrying a damn gun, she gathered herself and stood up from the ground making way to the bed where she sat down. Now she didn’t even want to even see that man talk more of being the same place with him. Now she had to thread carefully not to get killed, because she was too young to die and she definitely didn’t want to die in the hands of this crazy man.
