Ashley was already getting tired of paddling but she had come so far, it wouldn't be logical for her to turn back. Also, she felt a bit lucky because this was her town so she knew the way in and out...maybe not everywhere but she definitely knew this route.

She saw that they were starting to leave the public's eyes just like the time that he went to the forest. It brought back traumatic memories for her but she persisted.

She stopped riding and parked her bicycle immediately after he did his like that. Alex turned around to see if anyone was around before wearing his mask. He adjusted his cap and went in.

Ashley sneaked to look at him but he was no longer there. Within a few seconds, he was out again and she immediately hid again. She could hear the sound of her heart beating faster and louder at the thought of hiding when she was this close to him.

Thankfully, her bicycle was hidden. Alex rode past her to the road and she quickly climbed on hers so she wouldn't
