A Long Story Short

Katerina Cooper walked in slowly, as everybody stared at her.

She was very old, even though she was ten years younger than Cooper himself, she looked older.

Total gray hair, that seemed like it would have been blonde, and her mouth curled up evidently showing that she had lost some teeth.

Katerina was Helen’s and Selena’s mother, unlike Ethan whose mother and father were dead. Helen still had her parents, although they won’t live very long now.

“Mother, he’s alive,” Selena went to her mum, to help her towards the cushion, Katerina vision wasn’t very clear like normal.

Sam just stood there, with Charity beside him, there was no anger inside of him anymore, the rage he had brought with him had died completely.

Seeing how these people reacted meant that they had hoped that he would come and they were actually waiting for him to visit.

Such a kind of faith, he had never seen.

Katerina suddenly became uneasy when she heard what Selena said, she understood who the “he” stood for.
