A WEEK TO PETAL’S INCIDENT

We all slept over at Irene’s place on the night of the reunion after a long talk into the night. The next morning, we were woken up with the notification that someone was there to pick up Monica.

“Me? Pick me up? Who?” she queried with a mouth full of toothpaste’s foam

“Your father’s secretary is here. He said your father instructed him to pick you up” Irene passed the message across clearly and she scoffed

She didn’t even reply and went back to the bathroom to finish up what she was doing. We thought she would not give in to the request with the way she was just going on about her business without bothering that someone was outside waiting for her until she dressed up and picked her bag.

Irene sprang up “You are going with him?” she asked and Monica nodded

Her reply got Irene puzzled because no one believed that she would want to go back inside that house when she got kicked out by her father and have been left hanging for several weeks.
