He spoke when they broke the kiss.

"They are preparing to burn him at night and give his ashes to his mother." He said.

"So sad she would not be there to collect it," Alexia whispered.

Lucian knotted his brows.

"Why? Is she sick from all the crying? He asked. His voice sounded puzzled.

Alexia held his nape and pulled him down and whispered into his ear.

"No, she has just gone to be with her son." She whispered.

His eyes widened with shock. He opened his mouth to say something but she stopped him with a kiss on his lips.

"Shhhhh, it's alright." She whispered to him when they broke the kiss.

"Did you kill her Alexia?" He asked.

He knew the answer to that question but he wanted to confirm. He did not understand why she needed him to rule by all means.

"She was a future threat." She whispered.

He closed his eyes. He did not like the way she was killing like it was nothing.

"Will you kill me if I were a threat? Or if I ever become a threat?" He asked.
