INTERROGATION

RIEKA POV

Immediately the police officers leave with Gabriel, I hop into my car and immediately phone mom.

" Hello, my child" She responds the moment she answers the call

" mom, my husband, he has been arrested" I say immediately in a panic

" What? What happened?" She inquires

" They said he killed someone" I inform

" That's impossible, my son will never do such a thing" She says as a matter of certainty

" That's what I said too" I respond

" Where are you?" She ask

" I am on my way to the police station" I inform

" Ok, I will join you there. Just send me the address" She says

" Right away mom" I say before hanging up and sending her the address via messenger.

' When will all these problems end '- I think and next thing I feel is a sharp pain to the lower abdomen.

It only last a few seconds, but it's so severe that I have to stop the car and burst into tears, while holding my stomach.

As soon as the pain came, it left.

' What could be wrong? is something wrong with my baby?'
