39. WAR BEGINS PART I

Of course Vlad was there. Of course the meeting was with that traitor. Just staring at him had my insanity stir in my head. He looked like a traitor, to me it was like he was just holding up a large billboard that was written nothing but ‘traitor’ on it.

Dante walked into the office, Vlad already having sat with his red awful eyes staring at me as if to kill me. My wolf did not like him, no part of my body liked him.

The king walked around his desk. I thought he would let go of my hand and let me occupy the couch but he did no such thing. He pulled his chair with his hand falling away from mine. It was crazy because I immediately felt as if I was incomplete, missing that warmth, missing that rough touch I was turning so addicted to.

The king turned the chair to me, me frowning as I stared at it then him. A smile just spread on my face, never to deny a chance to sit in the king’s chair. I slumped down, him turning it back around to face the desk.
