Chapter 13

Jessi stopped chewing; she looked at her lover with a look that was difficult to interpret until Jimmy felt that the woman was offended by his words.

"Forget what I said earlier! Now let's eat again." Jimmy spooned food into his mouth.

"Do I look like a lonely woman, even though I have two lovers who always satisfy me?"

"No, darling, I didn't mean that." Jimmy put down his spoon. "To be honest, I'm just jealous of Leon. He lives under the same roof as you. He can look at you every day and I can't."

"Do I need to explain again who Leon is?"

"No need. Never mind forget it! I will try to clear the contents of my head."
