Chapter 3. Looking for Support

"Leon!"

"Yes, Miss."

Leon bowed respectfully in front of Jessi, the Boss he was guarding day and night.

"Is my appearance okay?"

Jessi spun around in front of the bodyguard. She was worried that there was something strange about her appearance.

"Already, Miss."

"Okay, thanks."

Leon was relieved. It turned out that the lady was only worried about her appearance. He thought that the beautiful woman would be angry because of his impudence.

The ruler of the Beauty Corporation returned to swing after hearing the bodyguard's words, a loyal person who was always there for her in any situation.

With long strides, Leon caught up with the Boss, who was walking in a hurry.

Jessie suddenly stopped in her tracks. She said without looking back. "Leon, you must come into my room!"

"Okay, Miss."

Leon could not disobey his Boss's orders because his job was always to be beside the sexy CEO to take care of her.

Without knocking on the door, Jessi entered her room after Leon opened the door for her.

She approached her parents, followed by a loyal guard always on standby for twenty-four hours.

The burly man will always be in the Boss's room because Jessi wants the bodyguard to always Be beside her.

Leon is not only a bodyguard, but he is also a confidant. Only Leon knows the horror behind the perfection of the ruler of the Beauty Corporation.

He was seeing his daughter come with the bodyguard. Mr. Jason got up from his seat.

"Jessi, Mommy, and Daddy want to talk seriously with you. Get your bodyguards to come out first!" said Mrs. Alice to her daughter.

"He's not only a bodyguard to me, he's also my confidant. There's nothing he doesn't know about me."

Leon was the one who always protected her and guarded her day and night. Even the man reminded her to be careful in her actions. She trusted her guards so much.

"Be careful, Jess! Don't make the wrong move because you put too much trust in strangers. Usually, it's the closest people who betray," said Mrs. Alice, glancing at Leon sarcastically.

"I believe in Leon!" Jessi said again.

Leon left the room without wanting an argument between Boss and her parents.

"I'll just wait outside, Miss. It's a family matter. I don't have the right to hear it."

Leon bowed respectfully to the people in the room before leaving.

Jessi sat opposite Mommy and Daddy, who sat down first after Leon left. She no longer talked about her bodyguard because arguing with the older men was pointless.

"What exactly do Mommy and Daddy want to talk about? Why can't Leon find out?"

"Jess, listen to Daddy and Mommy! D. R. Corp. has been one step ahead of our company since Karl's outgoing successor led it. You need support from rival companies to make the Beauty Corporation stronger."

"What kind of support?"

"You must marry Young Master Alando Alvaro!" said the father firmly.

"Dad, getting married is not the only solution," said Jessi. "Even without getting married, I already have a good relationship with the company headed by Mr. Alan."

Jessica Anastasia engages in an illicit relationship to establish good relations with her business partners differently.

"Marriage would be better. You can unite to defeat D. R Corporation."

"Marriage will only limit my career. I will have a new wife's job, hindering my progress."

"D. R Corporation is already in front of Beauty Corporation. Remember, it's Jessica Anastasia! How are you going to catch up with him?" Mrs Alice folded her arms under her chest with a mocking grin at her daughter.

"Who is the new head of the company?" Jessie asked curiously.

"Hans Leonard Karl," replied Mr. Jason. "The sole heir of the Karl family. Until now, no one has recognized him. It seems they kept the new CEO a secret."

"Mr. Hans," Jessi muttered.

A sly grin was etched on the corners of the lips of the beautiful CEO, whom many business executives admired. 'I'll find out who he is. No one can resist my charm,' Jessi said in her heart.

"The young master of the Karl family lives overseas. However, word has it he is already."

"Okay. Mommy, Daddy, I promise I won't let you down. Never force me to get married because it will never happen!" Jesse said. "You don't have to worry. I will handle this matter well."

"Jess, you are thirty years old. If you don't get married, how will you get offspring to get a successor who will carry on this company?" asked the mother, who wanted a grandson as the successor of her family.

Jessi casually answered. "I could have had children without getting married."
