AMARA'S POV

I couldn't take it any longer. My wolf was whimpering in pain. I could feel the pain of being rejected even without being rejected. It was much more awful than being rejected, being betrayed.

With shaky legs, I pulled myself up and went wherever I was able to go. I wasn't in my right state of mind. My wolf continued to whine in distress and desperation.

The feeling of being betrayed by your mate who hasn't even accepted you is the worst feeling ever.

For once I felt like going back to Kaden. At least when I was with Kaden only I was the one suffering but being with Dylan is making my wolf feel the misery that it never deserved.

Even I also never deserved this kind of treatment. What did I ever do in my life to get all these sufferings in my life?

The only thing I ever wanted was a normal life. A mate who loved me dearly and a pack who treated me fairly.

But no, the moon goddess must hate me to the core because no one deserved to be treated like dirt.
