“Yes, inspector. I hope you have some good news. Did you find my sister?” I answered the phone with hope, receiving a call from one of the inspectors in charge of my sister’s case at 6 pm on a Sunday afternoon. “Sir, it’s better that we talk in person. Would you kindly meet the rescue team and me by the lake outside your mansion?” he asked and I could tell by the sound of his voice that something was definitely wrong. “Yes, I’ll be there soon” a dreadful feeling brewed inside of me as I ended the call.
