TESSA POV I was pinned in the corner of the room and the wall by the string of electricity that had turned from white to red with her anger and I screamed so loud that I didn't know it was possible. THREE MONTHS LATER I was standing in my bedroom suite with Bella and Aria fussing around me like chickens with their heads cut off. Bella was doing my make up and Aria was doing my hair. She was brilliant at doing hair. She was putting it in some up and some down with perfect curles hanging down my back and I was keeping a very natural look on my face. I put on some diamond teardrop earrings and a matching necklace that Tyler gave me at our engagement party when we got home from New Orleans. And then it was time to get dressed. I was already wearing my white lace bodice with matching panties and white suspenders that clipped onto my stockings. I then got dressed into a strapless mermaid style wedding gown with a princess neckline that was covered in lace and had different layers going down my legs with a 2-foot long train. UNKNOWN POV In a darkened mansion somewhere was a women sitting on a rocking chair. Hair straight black hair reaching her hips and clothes looking very expensive, she rocked in the chair while holding a photo of Josiah in her hand and rubbing a finger over it. "I promise my love. I will get revenge for you. You wanted that bitch's baby. I promise that you will get that bitch's baby. I miss you sweetheart. I'll make them pay for what they did to you. I'll make them all pay." It was every three days and then two days so the next attack should be tonight. But we don't know what side of the boarder that they will attack from. They change that up all the time." Ryan says. TYLER POV After a few hours of sleep that day I got up and headed to the kitchen to get something to eat. We had another meeting with Ryan and his head warrior. We were going over tactics and I promised them again that I wasn't leaving until we were sure that the Rogue attacks were over. But I didn't know exactly how long I would be able to stay. Tessa sounded weird on the phone this morning. Almost desperate. And she never sounds like that. But she accepted my alternative to have guards posted around the packhouse. That did sound like her. She would always accept an alternative instead of demanding that I come home and drop my responsibilities to someone else. She wasn't like that. It was playing on my mind all afternoon so I gave her another quick call before I went back out on patrol. She assured me that she got some rest during the day. TYLER POV Carter gave me photos from the security camera's out the front of the packhouse and I growled as soon as I saw a man holding my mate. But then I stood in my chair and glared at the photos. "Why is she bleeding. You never said that she was bleeding." I growled out so loud that the windows shook. "That's what alerted me to the problem in the first place. One of them shot her while in the bedroom. I'm guessing she tried to use her powers because she was shot in the forearm. And then I guess that's when they got her with the darts. But when they came out of the packhouse that women came up and she shot Tessa in the shoulder to prove that she would kill her if she had to." Carter explained cowering back from me. "She should have healed from those gunshot wounds though." I say trying to calm myself down. "They were silver bullets. I could smell the silver." Carter says. And I grabbed the side of my desk and threw it across the room and it shattered when it hit the wall.

TESSA POV I had been slipping in and out of consciousness for a couple of days now while my body tried to mend from the poisons. And the morning that I did wake up and I felt completely lucid it took me several minutes for everything to register. The attack at home, being shot and poisoned and kidnapped. I looked around the room that I was in. It was pretty basic for a mansion that we were in. There was only a bed and a single chair across the room from me. I felt a sharp pain around my ankle and I looked down to see the silver shackle around my leg that was attached to the bed. I started kicking my leg. Trying to get it to break the bed leg but I wasn't strong enough yet. Then I heard the door handle turning and I shimmied back against the back of the bed and I rested my hands over my stomach. TESSA POV I woke up the following morning to someone opening the door again and it was Sawyer. He was bringing in my breakfast for me.
