Sitting on the bench where most of the parents who went to pick up their children, Rud was still waiting for his mother to come. She had never been late and the times she felt she was going to be late, she preferred to leave her job for a moment and pick him up after he could finish his classes. This was really strange.

“Mom, where are you?” The baby boy called her looking side to side. “All my classmates are leaving, where are you?”

His little eyes looked how the last of his classmates where leaving with their mothers or even, fathers. He was getting scared not to see his mother to come from any side of the avenue.

The difference between those kids and him was they had to option, if their fathers didn’t pick them up, their moms would do that. Rud jus had his mother.

“Oh! Rud? What are you doing here?” His teacher got surprised when she saw him on the bench. “Where’s your mother? Did she say she was going to be late for picking you
