CHAPTER NINE

Getting in his office, Stefan was been followed by Edmund, who tried to talk to him about what he had heard. There was so much going on in Edmund’s mind that was difficult to focus on one thing.

Stefan had done a good job with the right hand of his brother, he tangled him in his finger and did what he wanted. Edmund had followed him blindly for Alexander’s orders.

“Mr. Muriel, can I have a second?” Edmund said.

Stefan sat down on his chair. He just wanted to have a moment for himself. What other proofs he wanted to realize that job wasn’t for him? He was not cut out to be the man Alexander was, Stefan just wanted power, feel the power in his hands, feel how the world bowed to him.

“I’m exhausted, Edmund! Am I not clear to you?” He asked sighing heavily.

“This is important, it’s about…”

“About what?”

Edmund lowered his head. He was going to be scolded for listening to other people’s conversations but that wasn’t just a problem of Stefan
