The Misunderstanding

The room again turned hushed, vamoosing only their heavy breathing sounds in the ambience, which gradually tapered with passing seconds.

Abigail was still panting erratically, making her chest heave up and down rhythmically, feeling still fogged. Meanwhile, Byron's breathing had already stabilised. Lying straightly at his bedside, resting his palms over his back head and gazing over the wall, wondering with a long silence before he shifted to scrutinise in her direction with picturesque eyes.

His eyes first landed on her panting breath, which was slowly trying to adjust as her eyes closed shut to get some relaxation.

After measuring this, he shifted his iris on her naked body, which was now covered with his mark. No matter where he landed his eyes, everywhere, all he could see were red marks, even where it was light from the last round; he made sure to keep the mark again. And, somewhat marking her body like this looks like art to him.

She still did not cover herself with a blanket
