CHAPTER FORTY

"You can stop the car here, Sir," Grace said when they reached her former neighborhood. There was no way she could have given Enrique her new address at the house he got for she and Penny. As Enrique had promised, he had bought her a new collection of business attires.

He had wanted to get about twenty different suits, but Grace had insisted that ten was just enough.

"Why don't we just stop you directly at your house? Wouldn't you have to walk there if you stopped here?" Enrique frowned.

"It's alright, Sir. I have some errands to run," Grace said, unclipping her seatbelt.

"Okay, then. Have some roses delivered to Lila's address, I'm heading to her place now," Enrique said.

"Of course, Sir. I mean, Enrique," Grace said and rushed out of the car with the shopping bags.

The chauffeur took out her luggage and she waved them both goodbye. Once she was sure they were out of sight, she quickly hailed a cab and told the driver her address.
