Can I hug you?

Constanza kept quiet and didn't say a thing.

"So what will it be? Should I get Evena?" Ava asked Constanza.

Constanza knew the ruse was up. Ava knew that Killian was a fugitive but did she know the full story, did she know he was her brother?

"You knew who he was even before I came, didn't you?" she asked Ava.

"As soon as you two came into the pack, the sentries informed me, I got Helena and we followed you guys discreetly. I was the one who got the seller to announce the promo and caused the chaos so you both would be separated." Ava answered.

"Why didn't you arrest him immediately?"

"I didn't want to be rash, I was rash in the past and it affected me greatly. I wanted to observe. Besides, I didn't know if you were being held hostage."

"Why would anyone even think that? Killian is my mate, he isn't holding me hostage." Constanza said in exasperation.

"like I said, we can't be too sure. Do you know he is a prisoner of Salvatore who escaped? Did he tell you that?" Ava asked Constanza.
