“This can't be true,” I shouted. I didn't want my best friends getting involved in the supernatural world in the first place. But now I was learning one of them was mates to Nigel's future beta. This couldn't be happening.

“Nigel. Why the hell are you panicking? I’m the one mated to a human,” Valko rumbled. He and his wolf were angry.
