CHAPTER 165 - PROVOCATIVE VISITORS

“My noble king...” A middle-aged wolf glanced around before gathering the courage to speak. “We fear that your Alpha's zeal is exclusively focused on protecting the hybrid, possibly at the expense of forgetting your pack.”

With skill, I grabbed the wolf by the collar, choking him with one hand while casually scratching the corner of my eye with the free hand. I cast a lazy and arrogant look at everyone in the room, who widened their eyes, astonished and fearful.

“Does anyone else agree?” I snarled between my fangs.

“My king, I...I didn't mean to disrespect!” The wolf said, exuding a repulsive odor of fear and urine, indicating his cowardice.

“Stay away from me, coward!” I roared, and he backed away, almost crawling. “Anyone else doubts my leadership?”

Everyone shook their heads in denial.

“Great.” I kept my eyes fixed on each one, analyzing their body reactions along with the scents. From the she-wolf who had replaced Suellen, a distinct scent emanated from the others. “You, speak!”
