CHAPTER 39 – RETURN TO THE PACK

“Did I call?” I pondered, my voice trembling in the cold silence of the forest.

“You summoned me through an enchantment, why did you do that?” There was a glint in the eyes of the silver wolf, his piercing gaze was fixed on me.

“The Goddess commanded...” I whispered, lowering my eyes before his majestic presence.

“Only for that?” He licked my ear, lifting my muzzle, and my heart raced.

“I feel safe with you, Alpha!” I sighed, feeling audacity and vulnerability mixed in my words. After all, he had already tried to kill me and threatened me several times. “I guess you're right, I am crazy!”

“I accept!” The Alpha responded with determination, taking firm steps.

“Accept what?” I became confused, staring at him in perplexity.

“To train you as I trained my pack warriors.” He turned his head in my direction, evidently teasing me with his voice. “Even though you're crazy!”

I decided to tease him as well, purposely bumping into him and throwing snow on his muzzle.

“You better run, little wolf!
