Chapter 6 Nate

The movie night progressed as I assumed it would. Horribly.

I suppose to wipe away the earlier confusion about who was dating whom, we sat Amelia, Devon, me, and then Natalie. And you’d think that would make me feel better, but it really didn’t. It was a small couch. And the more his knee brushed against mine, the more I remembered the fact that his hand was in Amelia’s right now.

It didn’t help that the movie was a horror and Natalie was clinging to me.

I just wanted this nightmare to end already.
