Chapter 51 - An Alpha Meeting
ALPHA CHRISTOPHER
I knock and enter the Mason Alpha office. I am surprised to see that all 3 Mason Alpha's are there. I was only expecting 2 of them. There was, however, a difference in what was their rank. Alpha Elijah seems to be the one at the top now as he sits at the desk with Alpha Nathan on his right and Alpha Cole on his left. Something massive must have happened to change the order of power amongst them. I approach the desk and bow slightly out of respect before saying,
"Alpha's, thank you for welcoming me into your pack."
"No problem... How can we help you?"
"Is Skyler joining us?"
"No!"
I was a little disappointed at this news, as I was hoping to see her reaction to whatever we were talking about.
"Now, my brother Alpha David Jackson, what happened to him?"
"Just as I said, he was killed in the process of attacking a pack and trying to take their Luna."

ALEXANDER'S POV Cole has been spending a lot of time in the barracks and in the training fields. I watch him as he moves around the recruits and smile. It is something that he used to love doing, but in his position as oldest of his brothers, his Alpha duties always came before anything else. ALEXANDER'S POV Much to Skyler's disappointment, I ended up having to tell all 3 of them what happened as they wanted to know why there were guards and patrols so close to the Alpha house and I was not going to lie to them. She was right. They became even more protective of her, and I became her personal bodyguard. They even gave me one of the small guest rooms in the Alpha house, so I was there if needed. COLE'S POV I am sitting in the packhouse office with both Elijah and Nathan as we try to work out how someone could have put silver into Skyler's drinks. We ended up having everything in the Alpha house tested, thrown out and replaced. I look up at Elijah as he gets up from his desk and walks over to mine and asks, "Is there any possibility that it could be Alpha Jackson?" "Alexander has all patrols keeping an eye out for him, but if he is anything like his brother and from what Antonio was saying, he is even worse. He could have anyone breach our borders and enter the territory." Elijah goes to say something else but instead leans on my desk and holds his head. I do the same as a sharp pain shoots through mine. INTRUDER'S POV I was surprised when I got the call from Alpha Chris. He saved my life even after he knew what I was and why I had infiltrated his pack. He freed me from my master, gave me a little more training and then sent me on my way, saying, "I NOW OWN YOU!! I WILL UTILISE WHAT YOU KNOW AND WHAT I HAVE TAUGHT YOU UNTIL ONE DAY I WILL ASK FOR YOUR SERVICES FOR A VERY SPECIAL TARGET AND THAT WILL REPAY WHAT YOU OWE!" So, I went from one master to another. The only thing with Alpha Chris is that I do actually get a resemblance of freedom. I may not always agree with what he wants me to do, but if I ever refused, I would need to run and run far as he would kill me without a second thought. So once I complete this one I am finished with him and thank Goddess for that as he is starting to scare me even more than usual. ALEXANDER'S POV I slowly fight my way out of the darkness. I try to move but find my wrists bound and so are my ankles and where ever I am lying; I am on my side and it's cold. I try to link Cole, knowing he was with me when I passed out, but there is nothing. I then try my wolf Austin, but all I get from him is a small whimper. Since I can't reach anyone through the pack link, I fight the heaviness in my eyes and force them open. I look around to find that I am in a room that actually looks familiar, but I can't think of where I would be. I then see that Cole is still out cold on the other side of the room. He, too, has his wrists and ankles tied, but he also has a rope wrapped around his chest. Maybe as he is an Alpha, the female didn't want to take any chances with him. I then hear a whimper and look around again quickly as I remember Skyler was with us too, but she is not in the same room as us. I hear the whimper once again and know it came from Skyl

GRETA'S POV I watch as Master Alpha Chris whips Luna Skyler with his belt. I remember what that feels like and I still have the scars on my back as proof. I am surprised that she has managed to keep in her screams, I can hear her in her head begging him to stop, that she will be good, that she will do as she is told and that he, as her Alpha is always right, a gift from my other half. I want to stop him, knowing that this is not doing her unborn pups any good, but as soon as I interfere, he will know that there is something up. I stay on the floor where he knocked me until he pauses and whispers into her ear, "My brother should have given you to me when I offered to take and train you in every way at the age of 5. You wouldn't have then caused your mother's death and in the end, my brothers as well... ALEXANDER'S POV I didn't mean to mark her, I just wanted to protect Skyler, and then once we had our hands on her, Austin wanted to taste her. I catch her as she faints. I know she is a werewolf and I know there is more to her than that, but I am just not sure what. Not that I care, she is my mate and I will protect her just as I protect Skyler. I pick Greta up and carry her over to the sofa. I lay her down, run my fingers down her cheek, tucking a bit of her hair behind her ear. I lean down and kiss her forehead before heading back into the room I was tied up with Cole. SKYLER'S POV It was heartbreaking to realise that the uncle I loved as a pup was even worse than my father was, and with the female Greta, I could understand where she was coming from. Doing anything and everything possible to escape the brutal punishments that would come your way when something wasn't done to perfection. When I felt Cole and Xander's Alpha aura return to protect Alexander and then he admitted that if one was punished, then the other needed to be punished as well.
