Driving the car in the middle of the forest Devlin’s brain is just blocked. He couldn’t think of anything after what happened in that house. Not that he is afraid but angry. He looked at his mate who is just looking around the forest in confusion. She didn’t fear the werewolves as they are in the broad daylight. Though, she feared slightly when they entered the forest region but when she saw her mate beside her, she felt relieved knowing that she is safe around him. She wants to visit this place after she met Devlin, but she didn’t get enough time. But, now, her mate brought her here. She stepped outside and immediately ran into the arms of a person who is waiting for her with wide arms. She is happy seeing this blonde with doe eyes after a long time. “I missed you, Mary” Lucy squealed making Devlin jealous.

Devlin stopped the car in front of that black mansion where Marina said that the two men were living. He looked through the rearview mirror to see two cars parked behind his car. He knew that they are his mafia men. He looked at his mate and smiled with a lot of pain in his heart. He decides to wait until she wakes up because he knew that she never slept peacefully. He also knew that something must be running inside her to protect her mate even in her sleep. He went and opened the door removing the protective layer. It was Hector, his business bodyguard, who is here with the food as others are busy trying to find anything about Gizards, Yellow sapphire & invisible. He closed the door, taking the food and reliving himself for the rest of the day as if he is human. He again came and sat beside her and both started to eat.
