Chapter Fifty-Two

Our car stopped at the entrance of Sol’s conference, and I could see that the event had already begun. Kathy sat quietly by my side, and for the third time today, she was wearing something different. I stepped out as the driver opened the door and walked around to help Kathy get out of the car.
