Maya's POV

I blinked at Micah's proximity to me. He was too close to me and I didn't like it. Without thinking about it, I pushed his face away and he chuckled.

"That's not funny." I glared at him.

"I'm sorry," he apologized, a smirk stretching his lips.

"No you aren't." I stood up from the bed, giving my safe enough space from his taunts.

"Yeah, I am sorry. I promise," he said, this time some honesty in his eyes.

"Fine, I forgive you." I said with a sigh.

"Come back then," he pouted.

"Come back where?" I asked in confusion. I was still close to him, I just was no longer sitting.

"Sit back down." He patted the space I had just left.

"Only if you don't try anything silly."

"I promise, I won't."

Rolling my eyes at him, I plopped down back on his bed and he beamed at me.

"You are such a spoilt kid sometimes, you know that,*

"Really? I don't think so. Spoilt kids usually get what they want but here I am begging for to look in my direction."

I narrowed my eyes at his smirking face.
