Chapter thirty-eight

Gavin and Arianna arrived at the hospital. Arianna was pretty nervous. She was uneasy as she was scared that her husband might uncover the truth. Her palms were sweating, likewise her forehead. She quickly grabbed the napkin in her bag and wiped off the sweat on her face. Gavin and Arianna had their seats at the lobby close to the doctor’s office. The doctor’s secretary rang the doctor up to inform him of their arrival. She signalled them over and asked them to go ahead inside.

Arianna took a deep breathe before walking into the doctor’s office with Gavin. The doctor offered them seats. Arianna and Gavin had their seats. Arianna forced out a smile. The doctor offered some coffee which they declined.

‘’Welcome Mr Gavin and Ma’am Arianna. I’m glad to have you at my office today’’

‘’Yes. Thank you doctor, actually, we already discussed about it over the phone’’
