Chapter 48 Fear and Panic

"We're under attack."My heart pounded wildly against my ribcage when I heard Gamma's words. I stood up from the couch immediately and Hazel did the same thing.

I asked my most trusted soldier Michael to come and guard my wing through the mind link because I didn't want Hazel to get hurt then.

Hazel grabbed my hand so tightly and I turned around to look at her with creased eyebrows. I didn't have time to joke around, this was not the right time. For now, I have to protect my people.

"Not now brown eyes. I have to go and fight."I looked at her hand tightly wrapped on my arm then raised my head slowly to look deep in her brown Hazel eyes and all I could see was unexplainable fear.
