(S3) 35. WIFE 1

CHLOE

“I think napaaga tayo.” Willow said with a sigh, then checked her wristwatch. “It’s kinda boring here in the airport pa naman.”

“Yeah…” I agreed with her.

Minutes later, and my cravings for milk tea disturbed me, I told Willow I would buy some drinks for us. She said she would go, but I insisted she stay there. Zeno’s with us, too, but he made a call to his Delphi.

At mabuti na hindi pala namin sinama ang mga bata. Kung si Papa lang siguro ang susunduin namin ay okay lang kasama sila, pero kasamang darating ang abuela namin. I know na nakakatakot siya. I was told na hindi siya pwedeng sagot-sagutin. Hindi naman ako palasagot, but learning that even my mighty brother feared our grandmother, made me realize that she’s not a usual sweet granny like.

Nakabili na ako ng milk tea at pabalik na ako kung saan ko iniwan kanina si Willow nang mapahinto ako. Nakatingin ako sa lalaking palabas sa arrival area sa kabila.
