Trauma

Before Xander can answer my question, the door to my room burst open and my mom rushed to my bed, engulfing me in a warm hug.

"My baby." Tears after tears stormed down her face, as she cups my face and peppered kisses on my forehead, cheek, and wherever she could.

"Mom!! I am not a kid. " though, I feel guilty that, I got everyone so worried, but at the same time I know that it wasn't my fault.

"Don't mom me." snapping," sorry baby." she again started crying and kissed my forehead. "here you are hurt and I am scolding you," she said sadly.

And I smiled. My mom is the most loving person in the world. Her kids are her lifeline. She loves us so much that I feel like I am the luckiest human to have a mother like her.

"Mom I am fine. " I said looking at her and giving her the best smile. But immediately rolled my eyes when she again kisses me and hugged me tightly.

"Mrs. Brook, you will hurt." My mom's eyes snapped to Xander as if she just noticed his presence.

"I will never. " she
