CHAPTER 46- PROM DAY

DAISY

Someone stole my dress.

My heart was roaring wildly in my chest as I walked about the room, thinking of what the hell could have happened to my dream dress after I had been waiting for it. I looked around everywhere and I even decided to try and go down to the shop to see if the dress was sent or not. I was in a full blown panic mode as I walked around my room, almost making a hole in the ground. Prom was in three hours. My makeup and hair were done, but I was still in a robe.

“If you can just wait for a few more minutes,” the makeup artist, Celia, was panicking too because she did not want the art she did on my face to be any less than perfect and with all the stress I want putting myself into, I might begin to sweat. “I am sure that the dress is going to be here.”

“It is supposed to be here since morning!” I yelled at no one in particular. I had no back up dress. There was nothing in my wardrobe that was going to match up to that dress. I was going to cry, but I was afraid Celi
