Chapter 70

Helena's POV

Oh, my God. 

This was the first phrase that came to my mind the very moment I opened my eyes. 

Being hungover in itself was horrible enough, now, being purely hungover in conjunction with a moral hangover was like wanting to disappear from the map.

I had flashes of various scenes from the night before, however, the scene that I most wanted to erase from my memory was there, intact, detailed and vivid. How could I have said all that to John? Shit, shit, shit. 

I sat up in bed and brought my hands to my head, nauseated and feeling the world spinning around me as all the booze I had consumed rumbled around in my stomach, causing an overwhelming urge to let it all out.
