CHAPTER 66After leaving the salon that afternoon, Nancy decided to drop by Lloyd’s office to see if she could steal him from work for a few hours so they could have lunch.She meant to surprise him so she didn’t call to inform him of her coming. CHAPTER 67It has been six weeks since the incident with Allison at Lloyd's office and as Lucas said, Allison had kept her distance from the family.The hotel and restaurant were finally opened and thanks to Chef Al’s involvement with it, it was an instant success and Nancy found herself involved more with developing recipes, planning menus and cooking supervision more than actually cooking day in and day out.Chef Al of course was a great help in helping her develop her own recipes. Different speculations and theories were flying around, regarding the cause of her death. Some said it was the drug she took at the party, some said it was the taser, some said it was the doctor’s fault for overdosing her, but they were all wrong.Lloyd had flown back the very next morning. He canceled his business trip to be with Nancy. He tried to give her as normal a life as possible, but it was looking more and more like he had to have bodyguards follow her everywhere, henceforth.Harry Granger was livid and had sued both the hospital and the organizers of the party, where Chloe had taken the drink.
