VANCE'S POV
"WENA! I'm lost!" I shouted into the air, "Wena!"
I am still hoping that they are just around and she can hear me.
"Steven! I'm here!" I hope he noticed I was missing.
I shouted and shouted until I got tired and completely lost hope. They were not around and I was completely separated from them.
Damn it!
I looked at the time on my watch. Four hours have passed but I don’t know if I’m close to the community we should go to or not. I don’t know how many minutes or hours I spent following an indigenous family.
I closed my eyes to calm myself down.
What should I do now?
I remember, before I started moving away from the group earlier I heard we weren’t even halfway there to reach our target community. I mean I'm still far away. I looked up and looked where I had come from.
I have to go back!
I looked at the photos I had taken with my camera to have a clue where I had pas
VANCE'S POVSTEVEN held my hand when he saw my fear and concern as I watched the rushing water. The tide never subsided and it seemed to get even angrier as it quickly passed to us. I feel that in every flow of it, it threatens our lives that at any moment it can swallow us, drown us and throw us somewhere. We were still sitting on a boulder in the middle of the river. We are not sure if the water flow reaches the surface of the rock. So we prepared ourselves in case another high and strong current comes to carry us away.We agreed to stay on top of the rock rather than try to cross the forceful current of water. We think it is safer for us to stay there. We could do nothing but wait for help or wait for the flood to subside.I clung tightly to Steven's hand. Earlier we had discussed what we would do in case we were swept away. We will try to get to the side of the river. My eyes fell on the thin rope tied to us that connected us so we wouldn&rsquo
VANCE'S POVI WAS shivering from the cold. I feel like I'm going to get sick.We were able to change our clothes again but we could still get wet because of the splash of water while the light rain falling. We are now sheltered in the large plastic that Steven was carrying. Our bodies were covered by our malong blanket to give us protection from the cold.My eyes fell to our feet. Steven let me wear his shoes even though I didn’t want to. It's not heavy and it's feels good on the feet. While he was content to be barefoot. With a sigh, I put the light of my flashlight in front of the still strong current of water. From time to time, I looked around to make sure that we didn't have a snake on the boulder where we were.I closed my eyes tightly.Hopefully Steven and I can last longer in this situation. Hopefully our bodies will be able to cope until the water recedes or our rescuers arrive.I took a deep breath.
VANCE'S POV"VANCE?!" Steven let go of my hug. His jaw clenched when he stared at me.He obviously didn’t like what I said.“I won’t take back what I said Steven! I will never be happy when you are gone! Im sure I'll get drunk everyday! I won't eat and I'll just cry and cry! I'll stop studying and I'll go where you are!" I almost caught my breath as I shouted at him.I felt like my stomach lurching. I could see that he was holding back the trembling of his body in front of me. It was obvious in his eyes that he was weak and he felt bad.He closed his eyes for a moment. I don’t know if he’s calming himself down or he’s gathering strength to look okay in front of me."Vance I'm just saying that just incase something happens to me-""Please don't! I really don't want you to think that! Don't even think that you're going to lose! Because every time I think about it, it’s like I’m going
VANCE'S POVI WAS stunned as I stared at the blazing fire. I am now sitting on the fallen big tree in front of the bonfire.I have also been able to change into new clothes. My eyes fell on my foot wearing slippers. Everything I am wearing now was given to me by the people who saved me earlier."Excuse me," a man approached the bonfire as it reduced the fire there so it wasn't too bright.I noticed the bulge of the gun on his waist. Yes, I am now with the people I have seen with long guns before.I took a deep breath. I couldn’t help but be nervous. They are the only so -called rebel group here in the province we visited. The man left and a woman came and handed me a mug of coffee. She introduced herself as Yuna."Here, have some coffee first.""Thank you so much," I picked up the mug and I immediately sipped coffee there.I was relieved when I tasted it. My hands felt the heat of the mug as I slowly drank it
VANCE'S POV"NO NEED but thank you Wena," Steven refused when Wena offered to pick us up. "The person we asked said. We are too far from our activity area. So we decided to just sleep here at the house of the natives we passed and then tomorrow morning we will go to the activity area."At first Wena did not agree. She wanted to make sure that we were safe. That's why Steven assured her that we were in good condition so that they would not have to worry too much about us.Steven thanked Wena and everyone who was looking for us.He also asked what happened to the activity today. Wena said that the first day of the medical mission was launched well, although the number of people caring for the activity was reduced due to the search for us.I became even more embarrassed."Steven can I talk to Vance?" I heard in Wena's voice the concern for me.Yuna left to give us privacy.Steven handed me the walkie-talkie radio but I refused to ta
VANCE'S POV I GOT up and went to Steven in the kitchen. I smiled when I realized he was making a sandwich for me. "I'm sorry Vance, it's been a while," he motioned for me to sit down at the nearby table. I sat in the high chair and waited while he prepared. I stared at him as he was busy taking care of me. I can’t explain how I feel in the position the two of us are in right now. So much for the picture I dreamed of seeing in the future and now it’s happening. "Can we eat this first?" Steven landed on the plate full of sandwiches. "Later I'll cook a heavy meal for dinner." I tasted it. He did a good job but I made my reaction better so that he would be happy that I liked what he did so much. I could see he was happy with my reaction. He served me juice and he accompanied me to eat the meal. We ate quietly while just staring as if our eyes were talking. “Thank you Steven,” I said as I read on Steven’s cellphone scr
VANCE'S POV"I WANT to fill you up babe," I murmured, choking. We stared. My gaze pleads with him.A mischievously smile curved the corners of his mouth. Suddenly he attacked me again with a heated kiss."Of course... I'm yours..." he dragged me down on the sofa again. "I'm ready to be used by you..."I was trembling with the emotions already mixing inside me.We lay side by side on the sofa. I was sideways facing Steven as he was sideways with his back to me. When he turned his back on me he touched my lips.As we kissed he pulled out a small drawer at the bottom of the sofa itself. I glanced at the condoms and the lubricant gel that was there. He took a condom and lubricant gel. I would have taken the condom for me to put on my manhood but Steven quickly tore it off with his teeth. He acted so fast that he seemed to be in a hurry than I was. I stared at him as he put the condom on my manhood.I'm hard ... My
VANCE'S POV I FELT Steven's grip on my hand as we both gazed at the beauty of the full moon. We are now sitting near the sea. Steven hugged my back as I sat between his thighs. A while ago there was a bonfire in front of us but we turned it off when the moonlight took over the surroundings. We prefer the moon to give us light. We silently stared at the moon. Hugging each other and feel the warmth of our bodies in the middle of the cold night. We let each other be silent as we thought and watched the moon. It was as if we were tired of so much stories that we were talking like there was no end. We looked at my friends from a distance for a moment. We heard their laughter as they played around the bonfire. Wena's voice is dominant and my male friends are obviously teasing her again.I smiled and refocused to Steven to feel his hug on me as the evening wind blew. We prefer to get away from them first to give each other
