After so much contemplation for the past hour and listening to his mother’s cries, Cohen gathered whatever was left of him to do the right things. His pain wouldn’t fade away. It would just pass down to those close to him. In this case, his mother. He had enough listening to his mother’s sobbing. He knew she was hurt seeing him this way. But what else could he do? If the past nine months couldn’t make him stop mourning, why would this short time stop him from mourning?

Cohen got up from the bed and headed to the bathroom. He stared at his own reflection in the mirror and noticed how much his appearance had changed over the past nine months. He looked a lot older than his actual age and had lost a lot of weight too.
