Cohen got up from his bed, unable to sleep despite it already been eighteen hours since he had any sleep. It was eighteen hours since the Angel of Death abducted Mira in front of his eyes. He couldn’t rest easy knowing that the time wasn’t on their side. The eclipse would happen no matter what they did. The only thing they could do was stop the ritual. He couldn’t accept the fact someone else would lay their hands on his mate.

He walked out of the patio and saw the countless number of tents set up to accommodate the large army of Stefano. Cohen looked at them and spotted Stefano was sitting by a bonfire on his own. The Daemon High Lord was staring at the fire as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. Cohen ignored him, knowing that his anger would resurface if he confronted the daemon alone.
