And there was no alteration in the situation. The entire month was consumed with going shopping, purchasing new clothing and makeup, experimenting with new hairdos and colors for me, and switching up my hairstyles. Everything, each and every one of them. We spent each day going to the mall to buy new clothes, but other than that, there was nothing significant happening in our lives. It seemed perfectly normal to me because I wasn't bothered by any of it at all.

On one occasion, we went to a movie theater; on another occasion, we went to an event; and on yet another occasion, we went to a party. And, to tell you the truth, we did end up meeting a lot of people during our time there who were members of high society.
