24~ Mourning Olsen's Death

Vincenzo's grief was immeasurable. The loss of his best friend, Olsen, had shattered him to the core. No amount of consolation from Kelly, his girlfriend, or Mr. Polio, his father, could shake him off from the overwhelming pain that engulfed him.

"You should be happy, Enzo, that you have finally killed him and not feel remorseful over his death." Kelly said, but Vincenzo didn't spare her a glance.

"You don't know what it means to lose a friend who was like a brother to you, to you? You don't know what it feels to avenge the death of a brother, yet lose another at the same time. Even though Olsen did the wrong thing, it doesn't change the fact that he means the world to me." He looked at Kelly, she could see the pain and sadness in his wet stained eyes.

"I understand how you feel, Enzo."

"No you don't. No one does." He takes his gaze off her, indirectly seeking for his privacy.

Kelly let him be, knowing that there was no amount of convincing she would give him to change his mind. He h
