Chapter 108

Hudson's POV

I watched as London walked out of the mansion and towards their carriage, his precious Luna following closely behind him. Taking a sip from the hop cup of tea in my hand, I smiled, waving at the alpha as he turned to look up at me. Giving me a glare, the alpha of Startling Pack bared his teeth at me before entering his carriage after his Luna.

Sighing, I took another sip of my tea, the smile on my face widening as I watched the carriage drive out of the compound. Seeing that they were gone, I turned from my window and walked towards one of the chairs in my room. I sat down on the chair with a low grunt before bringing the brim of my cup to my lips.

The just rising sun casted a warm glow across the room and the aura of the morning matched the emotions that had started brewing within me. The chirping birds, the soft whistle of the wind as it blew across the open fields, the sound of the maidservants just starting their works - all these sounds melded into calming symphony
