Chapter 55
Rebecca looked at the dress that was too tight the last time she had tried it on. She had been so busy with all the last-minute details for the wedding and getting some problems with the clinic fixed, that she hadn't gotten another chance to try it on after the last alterations. She took a deep breath and hoped that it fit.
“Mi Amore?” She heard Vincent calling out to her as he walked into their bedroom. She looked at him through the mirror when he entered the bathroom. “Are you nearly ready? Two days after the wedding, Rebecca woke up feeling the excitement for the date night. Vincent had spent the day before dropping hints that did nothing to help her figure out what he had planned. The baby shower was a month later. Since Rebecca was getting bigger every day and so was Vincent’s excessive worrying over her, Lidia agreed that they could have the party at their house.
