I was the first one to get my own place out of my group of friends. I worked hard for it too. The program I wanted to go to was outside of town so I had no choice but to save up all my summer job spending for this basement suite.

Blake was my good friend who didn't share the same career aspirations as me. Mostly he played guitar all the time, but it worked with his whole "blond chill guy" vibe. He certainly always had one or two chicks in his life.

Louis is my second closest friend and we had met a little bit later than Blake and I had, but we pretty much became inseparable after we met on the school's basketball team. Louis is Latino, a bit shorter than I am but much more ripped. He wants to be a body builder or fitness influencer so he also never bothered to apply to university

So that left me, career track man, to find my own place about two hours out of town. It is kind of lonely because I haven't found a lot of new friends yet, but I kept in touch with the boys online.

I
