Ryan's POV.

The sun hung lazily in the morning, the sky, casting a warm golden hue over the cityscape as I pulled up to Micah's house. I honked twice, knowing Micah would be ready and waiting with the others. Micah, Jace, and Leo bounced out of the house with a wide grin.

"About time, man! The day's wasting away," Micah exclaimed as he jumped into my car.

"Hey man," Leo wiggled my shoulders and settled down while Jace entered with a handshake from me.

"You're looking good." He complimented and I laughed, knowing that he didn't even see what I was wearing. I was sitting in the driver's seat while he was sitting in the backseat, so how would he see me? There's no way he could.

"Where are we going?" Micah questioned anxiously.

"Relax, Micah. We're on schedule," I chuckled, glancing at my watch. "I'm thinking of going for a short hike and later, we could crash at the court to play soccer before leaving for home," I told them my plans. "What do you guys think?"

"I think it is a good idea.
